Disappointing stay. Sadly, won't return to this flat Positive: Fantastic view over Dartmouth. The kitchen was well equipped. Easy collection of keys, we managed to park outside because out of season you can park all day on the street. Negative: My main complaint is about the light on the landing which has been mentioned in numerous reviews! I contacted the host to be told the switch sticks on. From reading reviews this has been happening since the beginning of the year, so you would think it could have been sorted by now! I sleep in a very dark room, so found it impossible in any room to get to sleep, due to the light flooding in through the front door into the rooms. Resulting in very little sleep. The flat smelt a bit odd on arrival, it was all shut up and did not feel aired. Some aspects are bit a dated. Having stayed in another apartment rented out by this Company I was surprised that the finish was so disappointing.

Highly enjoyable weekend in a lovely apartment Positive: Perfect apartment, perfect location clise to all facilities, activities and restaurants, and with free parking, this place is a gem. We loved relaxing on the balcony, watching the stunning view across the harbour. Bliss. Negative: The light on the landing appeared to be stuck on saturday night, and didnt switch off. It shined into the flat all night which kept me awake for quite a long time. Don't know why, as it switched off quickly on the Friday night. Also couldn't open the kitchen window.

Location fabulous, spend a small sum on the basics? Positive: Obviously, the location couldn’t be better. The shower room is modern. Negative: Judging by the previous reviews it’s a shame that the owners haven’t acted on the suggestions. The kitchen is dated, the furniture is grubby and the curtains need rehanging. The stair light shining through the fanlights into the bedrooms could be a quick fix. Three unmatched glasses, no corkscrew, . I personally think it’s a bit mean to not have a few of the basics…salt and pepper, tea bags, a little coffee?
